Are these the Google AdSense staff?

I got a hit from freshchoice5.adz.google.com:7414 Just minutes bofre I recieve my rejection email and then, after I asked for a reason, I got a hit from trakken.corp.google.com/cgi-bin/box_bm_body.py again about 3 minutes before I recieved the second reply email (not stating the reason but inviting me to try again).

Are these the Google AdSense people? I cannot open sites on those addresses. Also note the first one does NOT operate from port 80.

Who else has seen these?

"Trakken is a high performance web-based email response management system"

This is what they use inside of google I presume - I have seen it plenty of times before.

It looks to me like they were checking out your site before they sent you these emails. This seems like a good practice. I've heard reports that google didn't check out the sites of many before they were kicked out, so I'm glad to see that they are doing this.

Does anyone know what this is? We have had 5 visits from Google from ip 216.239.45.4 - one of the reffers was h**p://trakken.corp.google.com the others were h**p://www.google.com and 3 of them were blank reffers?

Anyone have any ideas?

Interested in this... anyone?

Yeah, 216-239-45-4.google.com slurped 66 pages today from me. That makes sense if it's a bot, but it's an AdSense person doing reviews... wow, maybe someone's bored? Or (better yet), just really enjoying my site? :D

Incidentally, today is also the day in which I got a half-a-dozen hits from The Trakker (trakkinator, trakkorino, trakkmeister!).

Strange. I don't know if I should feel loved or stalked.

Yah I started ducking under the covers and got away from the window, also had a few extra beers and cigarettes!
