Anyone else noticed fluctuations in how much each visitor earns for you on average accross different sites and areas of sites? How have you capitalised on this?

I have been working to create a new site to rank competitively in this niche with natural SERPs - because the adwords campaign is a bottom feeder.
wonderboy, maybe you shouldn't have named the topic "How much do you make per visitor?"
Anyways, out of interest, is giving EPV actually against google TOS? This figure is not given in stats, would the fact it is derived from stats make it against TOS?
Back on the topic I wanted to get across, if you have a site section that earns 5x another area, but it is lower in quality, would you want to make it easier to get to? The balance between user satisfaction and earnings is called into question I guess, any other ideas on similar situations to this?

I agree. As much thought should be given to the topic title as the content of the post. The title sure gives you the impression that it is just another "how much do you make question." I passed up the question several times for this reason before finally clicking on it.
Your actual question is a good one, i.e., "Anyone else noticed fluctuations in how much each visitor earns for you on average across different sites and areas of sites? How have you capitalised [sic] on this?"
We certainly see a large fluctuation in both CTR and EPC depending on the area. To capitalize, we have focused our content creation on the better earnings areas. We have also used the lower CTR areas to experiment with different ad formats to see if we can influence the rate.
