I already have a site with adsense on it. If I want to add another site, do I use the same account? Will the reporting be seperated out by site? How long does approval take, approximately?

Jon, you don't need to get approved again. You can simply put the code on your other sites. If you want separate tracking, use the 'channels' feature they offer. You can read all about it on their site.

Put it on there and if they don't like the new site they will tell you!

Wow! So I don't need approval then! Do they come and check your site or only some sites as a spot check?

Jon, I would suggest reading the Adsense guidelines carefully. Most answers you get here are correct but don't completely rely on what people tell you. Google has everything in their rules that you need to know. It would be terrible if you got your account cancelled due to bad advice. Good luck with the new site!

A human will check your sites during the payment approval process
