Cumulative Conversion Percent

I would like nothing better that to have a great conversion percentage on my sites. After reading some horror stories about people getting their adsense accounts closed, it got me thinking.

What if Google simply set a minimum conversion ratio? If your account falls below that ratio, then your payout is decreased. And if your account reaches a high enough ratio, you are rewarded.

This would pretty much take care of cheaters. At the very least it would give Adsense publishers a way to analyze and make improvements.

I'd love to get a message like:
"Warning: Your 'business' channel coversion ratio has fallen below standard"

For publishers who have many sites, they may not even be aware of a problem that they could easily fix. If I got the above message, I would temporarily cancel my Business channel ads, and try to figure out how I could improve.

I know Google has to protect some information, but it would be nice if they could find a way to provide data that allows a publisher to:
1) Identify ads that have a low conversion ratio
2) Identify ads that have a high conversion ratio
3) Help us or warn us by providing some information about potential fraudulent clicks, so we have the ability to do something about it.

I value adsense very much, and I just want to be able to do a good job, and of course, I don't want to get banned.

Over the long term, that would encourage the development of "AdSense sites" which, like affiliate sites, generate income for Webmasters and merchants but lead to cluttered SERPs and headaches for Google. Such encouragement would be at odds with Google's mission, which is to "organize the Web's information and make it universally accessible" (I think that's how the mission statement reads).

To put it another way, if Google were asked to choose between a Web that resembles (1) a collection of periodicals and books or (2) a collection of weekly shoppers and advertising supplements, I think it would choose the former. Encouraging "AdSense sites" that were optimized for high clickthrough or conversion rates would tend to promote the latter.

Well, they already provide data about click-thru rates, so this is enough to create an "Adsense Site" already. But as a publisher, wouldn't you like to know if someone is puposely clicking on your ads? Also, wouldn't you like to know if your conversion rate was 10% of the average?

Unless releasing such data is in Google's best interests, it's unlikely to happen--regardless of what you or I might want to know.

Also, we can probably deduce our conversion rates in a very general way by looking at what's happened with our EPC since April 1.

Are we all sure Google Does Converstion Calculation.
If so, how does google know how much I am converting as an advertiser if I don't use the conversion code they give me.

Atleast as for my knowledge the Big guys don't use conversion code by google since they have their own conversion calculators. And these guys are the one's that appear in adsense more often than not.

I belive we are given enough inputs from Adsense and also recently AdsenseAdvisor was ok with using third party adsense tracker tools.May be these are more than sufficient for Improving.

I'd love to get a message like:
"Warning: Your 'business' channel coversion ratio has fallen below standard"

Would love to see this too.
