Does Google accept javascript code that keeps Adsense ads displayed on the screen when scrolling down the page?

My initial guess would be no. I'm not certain what the Program Policies say about it but it seems it would not be in the advertisers best interest because it would raise their impressions without significantly increasing conversions. Advertisers may also feel the branding they get with that is not what they want either.

This has come up before and the answer was no, IIRC.

P.S. I'm talking about a DIV that moves up and down as the page scrolls. I'm not sure what powdork is thinking of.

same kind of thing. I recall them being jumpy and I look at them like I do flashing, twitching things.

Hi,
I could be wrong, but an alternative would be to have the ad. in a frame that is always visible. I think that is allowed but I am no expert.

placing ads in frames is fine. They even have special instructions for you.

You need to place your add were your site content is. So you canot use a frame for adsense and another frame for your content.

Here are some threads on this with code examples:

[webmasterworld.com...]

I am sure there was another thread where someone was warned by AdSense to remove this kind of positioning, but I can't seem to find it. As always, double check with AdSense if you have concerns about whether or not to do it.
