Are we allowed to create a site on a drug product and then put adsense on it?

What about it that drug was - for example - cannibis. Would Google accept adsense on such a site?

Regards,

Jon

Since I doubt Google has adverts for cannabis in it's inventory, you'd only get PSAs. Defeats the purpose!

Read the Program Policies. In there it is explicitly stated that sites related to illicit drugs and drug paraphenalia are not allowed.

TOS prohibits it. However, a search for hydroponics would suggest the inventory is available.

When I decide if a topic would do well with Adsense I always check if and what ads are displayed on the Google search results pages for that topic.

When I type "cannabis" in Google I find no ads at all. Since cannabis is still illegal in most countries I think there are not many cannabis related companies. Perhaps some cannabis book sellers?

I think some pages about hemp products would do nice though. Perhaps that's an option for you.

there are plenty of adsense ads that show up for "cannabis" actually

I pulled up a cannabis page and used the adsense toolbox :)

Interestingly, there are many results for cannabis on overture's search term suggestion tool, but none for mari*uana.

<added>-anyone here do hemp products? I always thought it would make a great paper to replace nori(yuck!) in sushi items. Great marketing options, too.</added>

Where I live (Netherlands) "softdrugs" are not illicit, so I guess (if I wanted) I would be allowed to do it..
