Extremely strange: same page: ads/no ads

Alright.

I have a very strange thing going on on my website. When you open the main page in a specific language you open a page like:

/index_nederlands.php

The adsense shows an empty spot, as i set my alternate ads. the page is highly contented. The code behind it includes a HTML page called index_nederlands.html.

BUT: when a user clicks our home link, it links to:

/index_nederlands.php?HTML=home_nederlands

Now, that page has the exact same content as the first link. Funny thing: this page shows ads without a doubt.

Even more strangeness now: on out english page, we have the exact same situation. On our french page on the other hand, there is no problem... Both the /index_nederlands.php as the /index_frans.php?HTML=home_frans show ads.

HELP, i see no explanation.

i've seen the same problem but with a slightly different twist .. in my case, adsense doesn't show ads for www.sitename.com/ ... but it shows ads for www.sitename.com/index.html

so is it that it spiders / differently than it spiders /index.html ... would love to know coz it doesnt make sense to me
