My site got 25M pageviews last month and keep going up, I tried to apply for "Premium Service" but google rejected me. Anyone have the same experience and what will I get exactly for "Premium Service"?

I know this was discussed in another thread, but I wish I had 25 times my current page views :)

Anyway, perhaps there are too many sites in the "wdiget" category at the moment? Are you an AdSense publisher already? In this case AdSense could have looked at your current CTR and decided wasn't worth add another site in this category?

Yes I'm publisher already for 2 months, maybe my CTR and EPC is not good enough for premium service.

kyw: did adsense report 25M pvs for your account or did you get this # out of your logfiles?

You've been a publisher for two months, and you've got 25 million page views? How?

Hmmph. It took me nearly ten years just to get to 27M per month. Not bad for getting to 25M so fast. I must be doing soemething wrong.

I think what he means is that he has been using Ad Sense for two months, not necessarily his site has only been up for two months.

Yes my site has been up for around 12 months, and I just sign up adsense around 2 months ago.

I just place adsense at my site main page, which contribute around 10% of site total page, around 10k adsense impression per day.

So AdSense itself is not showing that you received 25,000,000 impressions for the month, correct?

If your main page gets 10% of the traffic and it gets 10k per day, then your site total is around 100,000 per day? That is "only" 3,000,000 impressions per month.

My guess is you aren't anywhere close to the 25 mil impressions needed to join, although from your post it is difficult to tell just exactly what you mean.

can i chime in as a non adsense publisher...

I will anyway.,

in my opinion, Google like any business will NOT just give premium service if you reach the traffic levels required.

it surely is also based on the TYPE of traffic and content on your site.

otherwise it would be very easy to get the numbers.

rant over, if you wanna call it a rant

Taking what you say at face value, I'd consider using SSI and place AdSense on every page of your site.

If your statistics are as you claim, then I would imagine AdSense would offer you premium service if it emerged worthwhile from their viewpoint.

Simple really.

Whats your site topic kyw1974 - if you don't mind me asking?

25m in 12 months is very impressive, when did you notice the biggest growths, what happened around this time?

I am currently trying to jump start a couple of sites into action that have calmed down a little after a good start. Just wondering how you keep the momentum going so strong, and so quickly!?

As the others have said your site topic may be a factor in Google's decision regarding premium account.

My site is online community, member join to get his own place for something, something like online journal, etc.

I don't want to place adsense at my members' own "private" area, I just place it at some "public" area so that the adv won't destroy my member's own design! I think this is one of the key factor affect the grow of my site. I believe most people don't like having adv at their own area.

Forums are not a particularly good fit for AdSense. Tons of impressions and not many clicks. You've probably discovered that for yourself if you are choosing to only run AdSense ads on 1/10 of your pages.

Anyway, premium publishers have some additional flexibility in integrating ads into their site. I've read they get paid on a CPM basis, but it's not clear to me that they earn more overall.

25m pvs 50 days after launch, 100m after 10 months here...
site similar to kyw's - very low click-thru rate

it's not forum, it's a site for kind of hobby sharing.

freeflight2:
wao .... 100m in 10 months, really very impressive, how many machines you need to run such a monster site?

Forum or community; the point is that you probably have a lot of repeat visitors and a high number of pageviews per visitor.
