Delay in reporting activity after Midnight?

Not sure if this is significant or even related to income reductions but it *could* be.

Most nights I am on the PC about Midnight and was always curious how our impressions and clicks were going stating the next day, right after midnight.

Every night for months within minutes of midnight the next 24-hr time period of activity would start to register on my account page. I realized that was likely not real-time but it always seemed very close to being real-time reporting of stats.

Starting a few weeks ago that suddenly changed one night where the first impressions of the new day showed-up at about 6:05 AM (instead of say 12:05 AM as in the past), the next day it was 8:00 AM before any action, that followed the same pattern for several days with nothing until well after midnight, and appears to continue to this day, though to a lesser extent.

This has little to do with users not being online at midnight as I have some adsense websites which get traffic in various time zones, including late at night.

Not saying this reduced income for the day as it usually (with a few odd low day exceptions) seemed to eventually "catch-up" as the day progressed, almost like a built-in time delay, but oddly the effect did not carry forward past midnight as a time delay in effect would do, so I wonder about that?

Anyone else notice this or think it could be significant?

I'm online nightly until around 3am PST. I've seen the clicks and impressions for the prior day rise, and a few impressions for the new/current day increase during those three or so hours.
