Hello,
Until now, I had my name in 'payee name' and 'company name'.
Now, I would like to receive the check at the address of a company but always payable to my name.
So, is it ok with the banks if I write my name in 'payee name', the name of the company in the 'company name', and the address of the company in the 'address field'?
I don't want the company to be able to get paid in my place, but I don't want to have problems with the bank either.
Thanks for your help.

Do you mean 'is it OK with Google'?
Only the cheques don't have any address on do they.

Hello Yump,
On the checks that I received, the address was written below my name. Isn't it your case? Do you have a different payee name and company name?

Check with your bank, usually its not a problem, Im with suntrust and I have had checks sent to a different address then my business is registered under, and it was no problem.

Sorry, talking out of my hat. Just looked at copy of last cheque and it has got address on.
I have personal name as payee and company name / address. Hasn't caused a problem so far (UK bank). Worth checking with your bank though, it may depend on whether you are sole owner/director etc. etc.
