One of my main sites(forum site) has been ranked well for three years on all search engines.

I created new directory under this domain for totally different topic(not a forum) for affiliate programs about an year ago.

Even though it is under the directory of the forum's domain(i.e. mysite.com/newtopic), it is never close to it.

I put the adsense code since last June to this directory and started gathering the links and now it ranks decently for its field. (it accounts for about 80% of my adsense revenue. I have three other much bigger sites but not good compared to this in Adsense revenue. )

If I had created new domain for this directory, I would have no problem now. But I didn't.

So, here is the observation.

Since April 1 (the change), All the forums are showing the keyword1 ads all over the place. even though the forums are not related to the keyword1. In terms of total traffic or # of pages listed, the forum is my largest site. So this affiliate directory shouldn't affect anything.

However, a few days ago, because of the high CTR and earnings from this directory, every ad on the domain is about keyword1 from the directory.

I am not happy because I know nobody from the forum will click the ads. It distorted the ads even for keyword2 on the very directory. (as I mentioned in another thread.)

Sigh...

I'd better create new domain for this directory and start from scratch again.

Any suggestions?

Create a new domain for this directory.
And don't forget to remove it from your forum site.
But wait a few more days before you change things.
