Is having both a Google AdSense ad on a page and an eBay Marketplace affiliate ad on the same page considered a violation of the Google terms?

I don't think so. You are only allowed one adsense ad per page, but i don't think you are stopped from putting any other advertising on there.

I thought there was a stipulation with Google that said you couldn't put another text-based ad on the Adsense-ad page, and when I look at the eBay ads they're textual. I was wondering if someone had gone over this and had a "ruling" of sorts.

As far as I know, so long as the advertising doesn't LOOK like adsense, you should be OK.

If you look at the AdSense Program Policies page, under Competitive Ads, they give some guidance here. As I read it, I think you'd be ok.

My post was Ebay specific. I moved it to Affiliate Marketing forum.

AH! mquarles, you are correct. As eBay marketplace ads don't "look like" adsense, then they are ok. Thanks for helping me out.
