Interesting... 'VOID' on adsense cheque photocopy

Have you guys tried to photocopy your adsense cheque for accounting record? My dad just did it and it's interesting to note that the word 'VOID' which is visible on the original is printed all over the copy. Our last few cheque copies had no such fraud protection.

Use a color copier and there won't be a VOID I believe. It only appears on monochrome copiers.

I photocopy each one I get as I then post the cheques to my bank in another country. All the photocopies (mono) have had 'VOID' marked on them since the very first one I recvd.

I believe it is a safety feature to prevent duplication of checks for check fraud.. Its probable that the techology used is such that the word VOID is visible only when the photocopy light is on it. Typically, many such features will be present on modern checks

I use an Mustek scanner for "backup".
I get my $ in ~ 30 days after the i deposit the check to my bank.

No void message :p
