Are there different "Data Centers" for Adsense Stats?

I've received different results...

Within minutes of checking, I have received very different reports. This makes me assume the results are coming from more than one place. Any thoughts?

Nope, I think they just update in bursts, as in every hour or so they update the results you see from their clicks.

I don't think I going nuts (others may disagree) but I could have sworn that I saw the stats 'go backward' or get less than they were just a short time previous...

You will often see different figures depending on if you check today's data using "today", "7 days" or "this month". I often see the most up-to-date figures for the current day when checking with "7 days" worth of data.

This could be called the adsense dance.....

If you are looking at todays stats. Often the stats will so up then go back to what they were a few minuted before. Then 15 mins later they will go back up to the new figure.

That sounds clear as mud......

Say your earnings were $200 and then you check them and they have gone up to $230. Then a few minutes later they will go back to $200. Then 15 minutes later they will fix at $230.

I suppose we could call it the Adsense dance. They like dancing at google

This is a known and reported problem although Google people could not reproduce it when I reported. I was supposed provide example screenshots and HTTP response headers that later responses exhibit past reports that are older than previous responses. I just did not had the time to report back.

This is harmless as you are not loosing earnings. Just take care of when you are adding urls to filter as cached versions of the form pages may missed entries added recently.
