Something is definitely wrong here. My understanding is that only when viewing channel data would numbers be delayed up to two days and that normal reporting would not be delayed.
Impressions and CTR are both within normal ranges, just the EPC is affected. It was like throwing a switch. The EPC all this month and last was fairly stable.
Anyone else seeing this who has activated channels?
This and this is what they said:
When you're viewing channel reports, your channel data is delayed for 2 days before appearing in your reports. This allows the system enough time to synchronize data across all channels, as well as perform preliminary audits on clicks and earnings to ensure accuracy. These 2 days will show 'No data available' if included in your channel reports.
Read carefully... is it possible this "auditing" is messing things up?
If there is a disturbance in the force, it is not affecting those of us that have not done anything to our code
You may not have noticed the disturbance, but I have and it is strong! I have not done anything different with my account, yet I have never had such a bad day, everything is down.
I have noticed stats drop every time checks are sent, but usually go back to normal the next day. This time, they have continued to drop ever since payment was sent.
Just my two cents.
Unless Jenstar has something different to offer I say wait for the stats to update.
I have talked with numerous publishers who began using the channels within hours of it being launched, and are not noticing anything unusual in terms of the days totals. One publisher beat her previous best-day-total by 2pm PST.
It could also be a situation similar to No data available [webmasterworld.com] problem that publishers have been having this month.
I am not concerned that using channels = significant drop in income. However, if anyone is concerned about it, just drop a line to adsense-tech@google.com
I did not know JenStar worked for Google in the Adsense department............
No, I don't, LOL. But by the Google rep's words, I am their most knowledgeable publisher.
Due to our timezone difference, final stats for a 'day' are revealed around 6.30pm. It is now 3pm and while my clicks are exactly normal, I am experiencing approx. 50% drop in revenue figures, in a very consistant week.
I changed to 'channels' approx. 12 hours ago.
I'm curious as to the timing or if anyone changes it back (away from channel changes) and if anything changes again. I was about to consider changing code back to see what was happening until I found this thread.
