When I go to various sites where I expect to see my adwords listed on adsense banners, I cannot see them. Does Google know my IP address and therefore not show my ads because it knows they belong to my IP?

Please delete the cookies and you would see the ads on your and others website.
I'm a publisher and when I login to adsense and visit my site without logging out, I dont see ads ... but deleting cookies works.

I have never had this problem, and never delete cookies after checking stats (and usually don't log-out as I'm on a password protected laptop).

Some webbrowsers may delete that particular cookie when they're closed, or it may be eaten by one of those horrible 'privacy protectors'.
