Mediabot Question

I notice quite often that a user will visit a page and then anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes later, mediabot visits the same page. My theory is that this person clicked on an ad and possibly the bot is coming around to ensure the page is within the TOS? Has anyone else experinced this?

Yes, I used to see this when I still allowed Opera users to access my site.

The free version of Opera runs Adsense in the toolbar and Mediabot follows it around very quickly.

When I add a new page, then go to check that page to make sure that all is well, I find the mediabot is following me and I certainly don't click on my own ads. I think it just likes to come running when something is new.

Any page which has not been visited by the Mediapartners bot before will be visited after the page is first viewed, usually a short time later.

These are all pages that are visited on a regular basis.
