Adding on all kinds of other data, such as clicks by domain, by page, by ad format, etc., entails collecting dozens of times (maybe even hundreds of times) the information. Do you think they already have this data, but they're not letting the publishers run more detailed reports on it? When these reports are available, how slowly will -they- be updated? The current stats make me have serious doubts.
Can Google handle better AdSense stats for its publishers? What are your thoughts?
by pageI am pretty sure, we are not getting that.
I think that the reason why there is a lag is due to them not considering this a high priority or simply because they do not want the publishers to have the data that promptly.
Who knows the kind of computational power that is allocated?
Or maybe fraudbot needs to eat the data in chunks in order to figure out a short-term pattern.
All in all, they do say that stats can be delayed by up to 24 hours, and I am seeing them update within that time frame. It is just many publishers refresh their stats every fifteen minutes ;)
