I am guessing they will be offering stats broken down into individual domains and possibly (hopefully!) broken down to a page level, so publishers know exactly what pages are getting the best CTR and EPC.
Offering stats in a graphical format would also be something publishers would find useful.
If these stats are as comprehensive as it sounds like they will be, it will save publishers from having to mess around with third party scripts and tools, especially since some of them violate the AdSense TOS.
I know many are looking forward to a variety of new stats. What other sorts of stats do publishers want on their AdSense stat wish list?
Deciding what pages to put AdSense on is like shooting at geese with a shotgun from a hundred yards away while wearing a blindfold.
Now with the JS scripts shared the last few days and my own tracking of AAs, I could get a better idea of what works where a lot faster. I'm interested in what stats Google might share that will help too. To me, what I show where is a function of effective CPM, earnings per visitor and time/trouble. AdSense is nice b/c it doesn't require much time or trouble to deal with, but it's clear in my case that affiliate links are a better substitute on an effecitve CPM basis on at least some sections of my site. I'm optimistic I could increase my revenue significantly by putting AdSense and affiliate links on the best match site sections and selecting appropriate AdSense ad blocks, ad locations and color schemes, but until a few days ago testing was so time intensive and ineffective that it was hardly worth the trouble of doing any complex testing.

Would like to see this more than direct payment, being able to see what's working and what needs a kick up the **** .
its gonna be like the fog clearing and being able to see at last.
Please please lets see page stats.....
Google AdSense will be releasing new stats for publishers "very soon". While they haven't announced exactly what all stats are included, they will blow everything else out of the water.
Sorry to sound pesimistic but they have been saying this for months. Jenstar do you think they really do mean very soon.....
I have been toying with the idea of using one of these 3rd party scripts but I am reluctant to spend the couple of hours needed to set it all up. Especially if Adsense is going to do it soon.......

It came straight from the someone on the AdSense team. I tried to get a date on when it would be available, but no luck. But I am willing to bet it is going to be pretty soon. They sound very excited about what they will be releasing, which is always a very good sign that it will be even better than we are expecting.
How 'bout a little wish list all?
Here it goes:
- simple progression, run rate, rolling and trend graphs on all existing numbers with calculations of averages, per week and per month stats and all other possible timing dimensions
- reporting (graphs) on various extrapolations
- best, worst day, week, month
- best, worst streaks
- single URL with click detail incl. timing dimension
- click origin would be great
That for me, how 'bout you guys, Jens

Did ask Matt to look into it though, and he agreed that it was pretty dumb that we couldn't see results per domain at least, and that he'd bring back the message. Not the first time they'd heard it I'm sure, but multiple fronts you know.
all I really have to say is... 'bout freakin' time.
Yes the Conference Q&A was too short. (Next time I would like to see it as a scheduled 1/2 hour or more if possible.) However it was very informative. The best thing I got from the group was I've had my doubts about the future of AdSense but based on the presentations I really think it is here to stay.
Thanks, Jenstar for your presentation.

- ability to create sub accounts. Most of the time I don't care for specific pages as much as for thematic groups. Each group can include one url or 100,000 urls, but I want to look at the results as a group the way I assign it, not google.
Something like amazon associates.
- export into xml/csv or better yet a web service to get to statistics to integrate them into my reporting
- ability to send a piece of text with the adsense code to base ads on. That should save them the trouble of visiting the page and give us better targeting. If that's too bold -- ability to tag an area inside the visible part of the page as having "the content". Otherwise more often than I'd like I see ads targeted to navigation areas of the page, not its content.
may be we need a thread "adsense features I'd like to see"?
After the stats come out everyone will target the high EPC, which will lower them
Would then be a better solution to 'mistarget' the EPC to keep them artifically high?, Where is the business logic in that statement?.
An efficient system will always be better for everyone , if the EPC lowers, advertizers would be able to buy more for their money and publishers would still make more from their sites.
What I would say is that everyone would target more efficiently , not necessarily just to higher EPC.
I'd rather have 100 clicks at $.05 than 10 at $.40, stats would enable me to get better results but at the same time to offer in return a better service.
