Newbie question:

I run a search engine of sorts and serve adwords on the SERP's. I set up adwords about 12 hours ago and the mediapartners bot seems to be visiting every single results page, (1246 so far) and we're still serving charity ads. I'm worried that it might think each page is unique and be trying to figure out how to target ads for each individual results page.

Is the adsense bot clever enough to know that a particular URL with a query string might be a search engine results page, and that it should lump all that content together when figuring out what to serve for our site?

Thanks.

Nope. If the query string is unique it's considered a unique page.

It's also against the TOS to run AdSense on SERPs. Kind of silly too, because you don't get targeted ads :P.

It's not as of the newest TOS update...
