I have some sites and I use Adsense.

I have automotive site and I get good money with them (about $5-$10 per 1000 visitors). And I have music sites which gives me very bad money.

What sites get more revenue than others (sites about movies, game or something else)?

technically were not at liberty to talk about this stuff according to the TOS.

However, i can say some industrys usually have a much higher margin and that will reflect in advertising revenue as well. :)

get an adwords account, and check the bids for the keywords. the higher the bids go, higher will the publishers get paid. Other than that no one is going to reveal much, its also prohibited by the adsense TOS.

um, curious.... I assume you have two or more sites under your one Adsense account. So, how do you know the revenues you are getting per individual site?

I've placed code on music site first - this money was very very low.

Now I use adsense only for my automotive site.

I can't believe there isn't multi-site reporting in AdSense yet. I could have learned Python and written the darn thing myself by now.

alexey9 -

think about what kind of businesses make lots of money.

for instance, does someone make more money selling a toy car or a real car?

more money = more competition, more funds available for advertising, and finally, that will mean a higher advertising budget, and higher earnings for you.

there isn't much margin (profit) in selling music online, at least not compared to other areas... like perhaps, selling musical instruments.
