Each row should include the search phrase, # of searches, CPC, and CTR, and total revenue as seperate columns in this report.
If they did this, they would tell the world the value of knowledge in US dollars.
I personally think the fundamental impact would be worth the PR for google, would increase the bidding for important keywords, and would be far more valuable to them this way then they could use it privately.
I can already get the top searches with clicks and CPC simply by doing a full dictionary search (not as hard as you might think) of their AdWords tool.
They wouldn't be revealing much that we already do not know. They would only be reducing error, educating the eCommerce industry itself, and bringing extra publicity to themselves.
And it would definitely bring attention to high paying keywords, thus increasing the bid rate and bringing in more revenue for the company itself.
The publication of such a list would be the death of adsense. With all the garbage that would be published based on this information, plummeting ROI would have adwords users opting out just as fast as the new pages appeared.
Sorry, but good old fashioned hard work and research are still the way to go.
