Does anyone know any issues of getting targeted ads on a sub-domain. Well, it is really an add on domain.

h*tp://www.my-site-that-gets-PSAs.com is really

H*ttp://www.mysite.com/my-site-that-gets-PSAs

I ususally get targeted ads in a few minutes. I have been waiting a day or so now.

Thanks

I place Adsense ads on a lot of subdomains and it really makes no difference.

FYI: the URL in your example, H*ttp://www.mysite.com/my-site-that-gets-PSAs is NOT a subdomain.

If your site is: ht*p://www.example.com, a subdomain would be structured like this: ht*p://subdomain.example.com

The difference is that I have a domain and I can use it on my current hosting for another domain.

So I type in www.mynewsite.com it will always have www.mynewsite.com in the address bar.
However, it is pulling the files from h*tp://mynewsite.myoldsite.com though it is seemless and no one can tell.

Ah, are you using frames to do that? If so, that is where the problem is. Mediabot can tell and gets confused, so to speak.

No, I am not using frames, but I am using the code as an include file. That should not matter though as only the adsense code is in the include file, no the content of the page.

Are you seeing targeted ads when you view it as h*tp://mynewsite.myoldsite.com (with that in the address bar, not the newsite.com in the address bar).

There must be something else at work here. Have you checked for mediabot visits? Any potential stop words? Double checked your robots.txt file?

Ok, they are slowly filtering in, that is the longest I have ever seen it take to get targeted ads. Thx Jen & the others.
