Hi, don't know if this has been discussed earlier but, when you have links near the adsense ads and they open in a new window, can it affect the ads appearing? Just wondering...

If you modify the adsense code, it will violate the TOS.

Hey, I asked Google about this matter and they said it shouldn't be an issue, having our own links opening in a new window near the ads should be ok...
