Are there Fireworks in your AdSense Stats?

Or is it fizzling like a wet sparkler?

This is going to be a long weekend in the United States folks, so put your seatbelts on. The weekend starts Friday as many leave early from work, or don't show up at all. It ends on Tuesday evening when the final rocket's red glare is but an ash falling gently to the ground as people drive away in their minivans.

That's five days of misery for some, five days of up and down for others. Misery loves company so we're all here for you. :)

Share what you got!

My traffic stats are down, but the ctr/epc is pretty well OK. This suggest to me that the real problem is people are seeing the family, getting together with friends, going away for the long weekend and just generally having fun away from their cyber-world.

Sooner all that malarkey stops the better ;)

And to follow up the 4th of July weekend. My ECPM has gone back up nicely, despite the tumultuous day. Pageviews are down a bit which is a result of removing adsense from pages and also some people just getting back from vacation.
During the long holiday weekend, removing the ads from my 'temporary event high volume pages with ads aimed at future customers' seemed to restore a healthy ecpm to the rest of my pages and overall revenue was restored Monday and Tuesday.
How's everyone else recovering from the 'carnage'?

Well within the range of normal, if on the lower range of normal, but normal nonetheless. Glad that's over.

Had a good time over the holiday, too.

Traffic was on the low end of normal, income was on the high end of normal.
