Is There A Trend In World Event That Affect Your Adsense Income?

I know that most Americans don't like football (or you call it soccer) and most probably the World Cup will have no effect in income to most of Adsensers.

I am curious to know whether webmasters here who are running football related sites or forums see any increase in earning during this FIFA World Cup season.

I run a celebrity related site and whenever certain celebrity did crazy thing, I will see a sharp increase in my Adsense earning as people would search for that celebrity and landed on my site. So, whenever celebrities like Britney Spears, etc did crazy stuffs, I will be the most happy person on earth.

Do you see this kind of trend at your site?

None of my sites is football related but this month of June has been really bad for me, because my earning dropped into half. I have not been working for more than a year now so that I could do "made for adsense" sites full time, and if this drop in income countinue, I will have to look for a permanent job after next month. Very sad, because I am expecting a rise in income as my sites get bigger and more traffic instead of decreasing and depleting income.
