i hope they do not let you in again.
we have enough scams on the web already.
no need for another one stealing money from advertisers.

Zero tolerance. So forget it and don't waste your time trying to scam AdSense again, they'll find you out and ban you again.

It really depends on the reasons as to why you clicked your ads, and how many times. It is all well and good people jumping to conclusions about you without knowing the facts.

If you just clicked a couple of times, because you weren't sure if they were working, or to be inquisitive and see what happens, then it may well be worth your while explaining to Google, by email.

If however, you clicked purely because you thought you would make money, then I am afraid you are unlikely to be accepted back into the programme.

People who are new to AdSense make mistakes. They don't read the TOS properly, and this leads to either deliberate or 'innocent' mistakes.

Contrary to what you may hear, Google does not have a zero tolerance policy on everything, but it is only you who knows why you clicked. Good luck anyway :-)

you would not have been banned.

You are right, Easygoin that zero tolerance might be a litle too strong and there have been instances of accounts being reinstated. But I doubt that they were new accounts (as in the OPs case).

You really have little or no chance of being accepted back into the Adsense program. Click fraud is a very serious thing. When you click an ad on your site you are not steeling money from Google it is money from an advertiser. The advertiser may be a huge company or it couch be someone like you or me.

It's something Google are very keen to stamp out.

Mack.

Jean, I just feel for this guy a little, as he may have been excited at his new ads, and played around a bit with them.

OK, we know it's wrong, but then I have done things I shouldn't in the past :-)

I was really trying to say that we shouldn't write him off, without knowing the full facts :-)

Thanks for your response to my previous message.

I think Google should make a warning ban at first. Say, a 6 month ban, and then accept back the website.
We all make mistakes, and we often regret doing them.
Who knows if the website they just banned can't be a good income in a few months/years'...

;)

Just my $0.02... (one click)... :D

It is very clear from the moment you sign up that there are rules to be obeyed. Choosing not to read them is just laziness. Should have spent the time you spent clicking, reading.

I find it refreshing that Google actually follows its rules and bans people, who don't.

The rules are so short and easy to read you can't miss them.

I honestly don't believe that clicking a couple of your own ads, either out of curiosity or accidentally, will result in a banning... especially if Google feels you're running a legit, worthwhile site.

However, clicking your own ads on a rgular basis, or clicking dozens of ads in a single day is a pretty clear sign that your trying to boost your own revenue. If this is what you did, you probably don't have a chance of getting reinstated.
