Adsense Search box looks funny on my page

Hi I`m new here, if I had to make a separate post for introductions, sorry.

This might be a stupid question but my adsense search box, looks really strange on my page. Is there someone here that can help?

I run Joomla, and used a mod_html to dislplay the box.

Dunno if that help. Please, I`m a peanut with these things.

It looks like the code has been changed. I noticed that the <br /> tag has been added to every line, and that is why there are spaces in the search box.

You'll need to create a custom module. Do this:

1. Turn off the WYSIWYG editor as it will add code to the javascript that you do not want.
2. Go to "Site Modules".
3. Click on "New".
4. Paste the script in the blank "Custom Output" content box.
5. Choose a "position" for the new module.
6. Choose a "Module Order" if needed.
7. Give the module a "Title".
8. Choose if you want that title to be shown using the "yes" or "no" radio buttons.
6. Save and publish.

I dont use Joomla, but my search boxes still look lame..
too much empty space below them, and i cant match the background (only white or grey).

AG never mind, it`s okay. I`ve been to that forum and if you have a stupid question they don`t answer you. I know they are busy and all, but if I ask something I want a respnse at leat.

Since there are no stupid questions here, I have one about search boxes too. :-)

They look OK in my browser, but in Dreamweaver they contort my page (ie, make it stre-e-e-e-etch sidewise) to the point where I can't edit in that view. Which is so inconvenient that I've given up on using search boxes so far.

This won't help with the background problem, but as for the space - that might be the form tag. If you add a style taking forms down to 0px margin, that might help with that.
