Dudes!
What are the ways you may get kicked out of Adsense.

Heard a rumor that adsense kicks out people if the clicks they receive is concentrated from a specific geographic location.. Any truth?

It depends on how specific it is... If it was only your computer then yes :)

If it is just the general area you live in I don't think this will be a problem. As long as you are not trying to game the system you should be OK.

I just got worried because my friend clicked 25, YES 25 times continusly on a single ad. I didnt ask him to and he told me this. I really got scared and logged in to see 25 clicks registered but earnings were 0.00$.
Would this lead into trouble?

Keep a low profile with your site. Donot push it to your friends and family who will try to 'help' out. This is sure way to get into trouble.

Regarding your problem:

Your friend is not very bright is he? Or is he really your friend? You need to rework your equation with him/her.

I think if the system shows $0.00 earnings ,you may have been given the benefit of doubt. But you will really get to know when your earnings reach USD 100 and , I think a review is triggerred.

Hope for the best and donot show any more ads to your 'friends' I.P. maybe?

You're right! My friend tried to 'help' me!
So, u think there is a possibility i may get kicked out even though the system registered the cliks invlaid by giving 0.00$ for them? It wil be really devastation when I come to know i've earned 100 and have been kicked out :( so i asked .
Yeah! I'll keep in mind not to publicize it within my friends but with the www.
Thanks a lot man!

Don't get too excited in making instant money in adsense. Every adsense publishers in here starts from scratch meaning from $0/day. Just optimize your site(s) well. And don't tell your friends or your relatives about your site.

And block that "friend's" IP# so he cannot do it to you again.

This is small stuff but just keep in mind what your friend is really doing...

Ripping off an advertiser
Knowingly committing fraud

If your friend wants to help, have him/her stay away from your website.

And block that "friend's" IP# so he cannot do it to you again.

Blocking it to obvious.

Just show him Amazon instead of AdSense ads.

Nobody is thrown out at Amazon for invalid clicks.

See my SSI script for this listed in an other thread

That's not true. Many of us had sites before Adsense came along - we didn't create a site because Adsense existed. That meant on day one we had 10/20/30+ thousand impressions a day and the clicks to match

He's either clicked on cpm ads or Google are onto him.

To be honest, I'd do what the others have suggested and not show Google ads to his IP, and email Google to let them know. But I'd put a spin on the email something along the lines of "I saw a bunch of clicks, and detected unusual activity on my logs occuring at the same time, so took action to ban this IP as I don't want to jeapordise my account". Don't mention that you know for a fact it was your best buddy that did it.

Most of us have clicked our own ads by mistake, and when you email Google they usually send you back a standard email thanking you for letting them know, and clarifying the TOS. If you act pro-actively on this they will appreciate it. Also learn by the experience and do everything you can to keep your standing with Google in good health!

And don't tell your friends or your relatives about your site.

There is no way I would refrain from telling whoever I wish about my sites, be it friends, family or otherwise. Google is not the internet police, nor does it say it is.

If a competitor wants to try and cause problems for you, he can click forever on your ads. Google is wise to this.

At the end of the day, I want as many people as possibe to view my sites, and word of mouth is one of many marketing techniques. Worrying about Google banning me because a friend clicks on ads is the least of my worries. Apart from which, that isn't likely to happen if it is approached in the correct manner

I love talking about my sites and I get around the question of how I make money by simply saying I sell ad space...like renting out real estate. :)

I don't have a problem telling people I know about the site, but I refrain from doing so. In fact, the person most likely to say something is my wife. She recently told my sister and bro-in-law about the site and earnings. The first reaction when they heard about the making money from clicks was "What's the site and we'll put in a few clicks for you".

I doubt if this reaction is uncommon - most of our friends and family would want to help us in such a simple way. You then have to explain the reaction Google have to this. It's just easier not to tell people.

"And don't tell your friends or your relatives about your site. "

Normally , I am against this advice myself but seemed especially relevant for the OP.

I myself, run an ecommerce site and word of mouth publicity is important. I guess, it depends upon current traffic levels. If current organic / paid traffic is already high, few additional 'friends' may not make such a big diffn.

And I think it is more important not tell others, about how money is made from adSense on the site.

The tendency to 'show off' is what leads to trouble..and ...greed.

You're right, but they're the ones that determine if you can run Adsense on your site.
