I have noticed after my frequent checking of the Adsense stats page that not all the stats update at the same time. Sometimes stats for 'today', 'last 7 days', 'this month' or 'all time' are different or one updates before the other.
I would have thought they would have all updated together.

This keeps coming up. My opinion is that Google is cacheing queries to save resources, so that searches for a given date range are only re-executed once an hour or so. However the underlying database is updated very frequently.
Simply choosing a different page range for the report always works for me.
