I run two ad blocks on the main page. Unfortunately the main block (horizontal) is most of the time served with lower paying ads that the left block. Since the main block is generating 2-3x more clicks that the left one I was wondering if there is a way to switch them and get the better paid on the horizontal block?

I recall reading that better paying ads are served first, and so the ad block called by your page first will contain better paying ads.
You could remove the first ad block so that the one in the main content had the best paying ads. It has been said that "less is more" when is comes to ad blocks.
