I never used to put google ads in an iframe of their own because i beleived that this would reduce the targeted nature of the ads but recently i ran a test and found exactly the same ads showing on iframes and directly inserted code.

This would greatly help me manage my adverts, has anyone else had a similar experiance?

Another very intersting post.

Anyone else tried it?

It works just fine the few times I've seen it on other pages.

AFAIK, it has not been an issue. If it is in a regular frame, especially if it is placed in a frame that doesn't contain the main content of the page, it can become a problem.

It can if you don't change the link and id to one of yours. If you do that then all is fine and it will work. I think this has been around since day one. I still see people pulling ads from other sites into a frame on their site and just replacing their id.

Wait a moment: but isn't AdSense using an iframe of its own? When alternative Ads are activate I always see it in iframe!

Yes. It is in it's own iframe.
