Are we allowed to discuss ECPM?

When the info is not provided by Google

Google doesn't allow us to discuss statistics related to our site performance, IMO Google means disclosing your CTR and ECPM.

From Adsense Terms and Conditions section 7

You agree not to disclose Google Confidential Information (...) "Google Confidential Information" includes without limitation (...) click-through rates or other statistics relating to Site performance in the Program provided to You by Google (...)

I believe a grey area is statistic information not provided by Google. What if some third party webcounter tells me I had 30.000 page impressions in may 2006, and what if my bank account says I made $300,- with that.
In that case I would have a $10 ECPM.
That is indeed "statistics relating to Site performance", however, this information is not "provided to You by Google".

So doesn't that mean I am free to discuss my page views, earnings and thus ECPM as long as the info is not provided by G?

The way I understand it:
Earnings disclosure is OK
Site statistics is OK
Ad statistics is not OK

Logic says yes.

However surely it has always been accepted that generic approximations, rather than exact conversions, is not a problem?

Here is the key to what we can discuss beyond total Adsense income.

Anything.....

...as long as the info is not provided by G...
