I just got an invitation code for Analytics but I'm not sure if want to put the script on my site: the urchin.js-files has 18 kilobyte which is a lot (my pages have a total of around 25kb).

Because I've seen on my site that with bigger pages (and more loading time) CTR goes down and I think every second is important.

My question: has anyone noticed a significant change of CTR after putting Analytics on their site?

i put Analytics on my site in April.. my traffic, ctr, ecpm, and everything else have gone up, up UP -

Would they go higher without Analytics? I dunno..

I've never noticed any difference in speed before and after i put it on.. it might be different for somone with dialup - but those people are used to slow-loading pages..

I put it on a couple of my client's sites, and it slowed them down bigtime, so I took it off.

I have it on my site, I didn't notice any change in speed. My only question is does it hurt the text/code ratio?
