Due to high rankings in Inktomi that are now showing up at Y and MSN I am seeing more traffic and more AdSense dollars. Any one else?

hmmm...maybe that explains it! my traffic doubled yesterday and seems to be on its way to doing as well today. haven't had time to analyze my logs yet, but that would be a good explanation. (and yes my adsense dollars followed the traffic quite nicely)

My traffic has been up since the beginning of the year. When did Y and MSN make this change?

Y own Inktomi and MSN are using Inktomi until they develop/launch their own?

And I think we need three big players in the high-end Search marketplace.

I'm hoping the rise I have seen in the last three days has been because of my AdWords. :-)

lucky you... i don't see a significant increase in the number of referrals from MSN. Perhaps the tech-savvy group search with Google exclusively.

Ink moving to MSN has been very good for me as well. I have been seeing a 200% increase in referrals from MSN. From total referrals from MSN being 5%...all the way up to 15% now.

Dave.

Its been a great start to 2004 so far, with traffic increasing by as much as 45%, and our daily rate for Adsense has now doubled.

Like most have commented, seeing a large part of that increase in traffic from MSN & YAHOO

Google now only brings in 50% where as it used to be 80%

I too have noticed a big rise in hits (god, I wish they would hurry up and let us know which sites are getting the clicks). I am getting more super days (as I call them) than before.

Google is still by far the biggest incoming on my site:

Search Engine Searches
1 Google 1,024
2 Yahoo 281
3 MSN 30

Taken from the last 2 days.

Simon.

How long has this been going on? Just took a look at December and Month to Date and it seems like nothing has changed for me

----------December - January
 Google -- 56.2% ---- 56.5%
 Yahoo --- 22.7% ---- 23.4%
 MSN  ----14.1% ---- 14.3%

Edit:

Ok just looking at the last two days, I don't see much difference:

 Google 56.6%
 Yahoo 25.3%
 MSN 15.3%

My Google reports have edged up to what what they were last summer (my peak season), so I have no complaints about Google.

But MSN is definitely starting to have a significant impact on my daily referral logs. On some days, MSN delivers nearly 40% of what I get from Google, and its referrer numbers are often neck and neck with Yahoo's.
