Link only is clickable.

Is this a change or have I gone nuts.

Is this a change? I thought in the past that the whole ad in an AdSense ad was clickable, now I'm noticing only the highlighted link within the ad is.

Update:

I am using banner and skyscraper. With banner, it's only the link that clickable, with skyscraper the whole ad is clickable. This is interesting.

Your not nuts! I get the same thing on my site. Not sure if it's new or not.

I don't go near them, in case I have a seizure and inadvertently fall onto the mouse and make an invalid click

You are correct justageek. What's interesting then is how the mouse looks different for the two types of ads.

I think the two ad banner may have always been that way. The Leaderboard works like the skyscraper though.

It seems to be sporadic. I'm seeing them on 4 ad banners on some sites but not others.
