I had click attack

I went to my google adsense account today and I saw :

Page impressions Clicks Page CTR Page eCPM [?] Earnings
AdSense for content top channels
58 270 465.52% $4.46 $0.26

58 impressi0ons, 270 clicks, $0.26.

So obviously I had click attack.

I was lucky to check my adsense account today because I don't check it often. I informed Google about it. I wanted them to fix the issue and to send me IP address of the attacker, so I can block them using .htaccess.

They fixed the issue but they haven't send me IP address of the attacker.

This is their respond:

<paraphrase>they thanked me for the information and said they may need to adjust payment for any days where they find invalid clicks</paraphrase>

fff... I hope I will not have any more click attacks and I hope they will find the way to handle it in the future without banning users (and me, especially).

Anyway, it would be stupid if I have to check my account often to monitor click attacks.

I wonder are there people here who have click attacks often and what is their expirience about it?

They won't send you the IP address. Why would they? They can block it in their own way.
