We'll be performing routine AdSense maintenance on Saturday, May 27, at 10:00am PDT. The maintenance is expected to last for several hours.

As you know, during this time you may not be able to access your account. However, your Google ads will continue to display, and stats and earnings will continue to accrue in your account.

If you're in the U.S., try to enjoy the 3-day weekend!

Thaks AdSenseAdvisor,
Hope this maintenance is easier on us than Rodeo was..
Will it be Twister this time?

Good grief, it's only two weeks since Rodeo...are they going to try and make amends to all those who suffered so badly?

Hey AdsenseAdvisor,

I really hope that Twister will be like Rodeo. I have no idea what you did at the Rodeo-time, but my eCPM increased massively since that maintenance two weeks ago, in fact the best day I have EVER had on Adsense was May 14th.

Good luck!

Now the stats are down,
I guess it is time to concentrate on some production without distractions.
Another difference will be monitoring the site statistics the normal way not through AdSense.

Using Adsense isn't the "normal" way? :)

Huh, again. :-o

I have had strange numbers (*place panic here*) since last update. If this is another ""whats-happening-mess"", it's really starting to take it's toll mentally.

Last time there was maintenance I had couple of extreme low days. Then clicks started to rise but impressions never sort of recovered from that "maintenance". And ads looked couple of days like they were randomly selected for my sites.

Couple of more of these so called ""maintenances"" and I'll be sending google "Internet for Beginners" (anyone want to participate that project) ;-D

Just wait and see..
It could be a change in the interface, a switching to new servers hardware, a server OS update, applying patches, re-installing windows ;-) ... Or Twister!

Let's call it after we see it, no use worrying now.

Watch out ... if we continue to speculate in the absense of any hard facts we will cease to be webmasters and become ... (gasp) ... reporters ;-)

Interesting to note Adwords is down for maintainence as well. Could they be linking the two together to allow us to transfer adsense earnings into our adwords account? (YPN has this feature with overture)

According to the BBC [thespoof.com] the Google Adsense site is down because Google have gone bust. All the click-fraud litigation has finally taken its toll. However, as the aforementioned article suggests, Google are recruiting more employees to manage their outplacement programme. Kenneth Lay is the first appointee, and he'll be overseeing things from his new office (apparently, he says things are looking up and he has a nice view over the courtyard).
