Now I am accused of encouraging clicks? They say I have 3 days to fix it and they will automatically detect the changes. What is there to fix, I have done nothing wrong?

discussing the ads on a page that contain adsense is reasonable reason to get booted, does not matter or make and difference if the discussion is in the context of pro or against clicking ads, it's the drawing attention that will get you booted, they were kind enough not to ban you first but send you that friendly reminder of the violation to the TOS, most probably their algo detects that your site is a forum and you cannot monitor every single post, if I were you I would thank the stars for the automation and the automatic algo, not wonder about the automation and how it did not understand the context of the post on your forum.
I see your point. Your page isn't really the TOS violator that we would all like to see kicked out of Adsense. But what really is your beef? You sacrifice one page that has triggered some sort of Adsense automated evaluation in exchange for this automated process finding hundreds or thousands of real violators. Get on board with the rest of us and be glad Adsense is trying to clean up the program and preserve its integrity.
The algo looks for a pattern, if it finds one it doesn't like it flags you. Based on which one it is you get a human or automated response.
In what ever you do do not create any type of pattern and your odds of getting flaged or banned are small.
A lot of good forums come with the ability to filter out offensive words. I'm guessing "click away on my ads" is the culprit here, or maybe "click on the ads" in your reply. I doubt Google will let us look at their word list, but if you use your imagination you can probably come up with a similar list to theirs.
Just add these phrases to your banned word filters, and you should be okay.
My problem is I cannot find the integrity in them accusing me of encouraging clicks.
Well, it's not actually you - specifically - that they have a problem with. It's your site. But in their eyes, that is you. You are the owner and operator - so if that is on your site they perceive that even if you didn't encourage someone making a post like that, since it is still there you must condone it. This is a problem that happens often with forum-based sites.
I've been running AS on my site for 1+ years and they finally dredged that up. I pulled the offending post and now I map "click the ad" and a few other TOS-breaking phrases to something else.
what part of drawing undue attention to ads in the TOS is unclear?
The ads on my site were never mentioned or pointed to in any way, shape or form!
It was a (now banned) forum member asking people to click the ads on his site which he linked to. I told him he would be kicked out of adsense by pulling such a stupid thing.
Should all affiliate forums be closed because members may discuss ethical steps which may improve clicks on thier google ads?
To answer your question "what part of drawing undue attention to ads in the TOS is unclear?"
The part where I get warned for doing nothing to draw attention to any of the ads on my site.

So, "you" didn't draw attention to the ads, but a page on "your site" did. In Google's eyes, "you" and "your site" are one in the same - they don't differentiate between the two ... nor (quite frankly) should they.
So, adsense is basically checking pages with adsense code automatically and looking for key phrases, if it sees them you get the email. I think Dave_B would rather those sites get flagged and an actual human check them out. Good idea in theory, but as big as adsense is now they need to automate everything they can.
If you don't take the post down you are aiding and abetting, you are an accessory to the crime, ergo guilty.
The algo caught the "pattern" of click throughs and tracked it back to your site. It is quasi out of your control but then again it is not. You are the admin and you have the power to remove it, that is why you have three days.
Take it down or you will be banned defacto as being in cahoots with the poster.

That's a possibility, but I don't think there is sufficient information in this thread to establish it as fact.
Another possibility is someone observed what appeared (to the person) to be a violation of the terms, a human at Google reviewed the page in question and sent out a standard warning email.
The "automated" reference seems to be in regards to AdSense knowing whether or not the change was made. I would think it would be easy for Google to monitor a particular page for changes via an automated process.

I am sure a human will see to its completion. The original email could be human initiated but just have a auto feel and look to it.
