AdSense-The page cannot be displayed

Hello,

I am new to AS. Frequently i have been seeing 'The page cannot be displayed' in the blocks where Google Ads supposed to be displayed. It has 2 effects -

1. Bad impression of the viewer.
2. I may be missing prospective clicks

Can you guys help me in understanding-

1. Wht it happens so regularly?
2. Is there any way to keep some thing in that place when ever AS is not displayed atleast to improve the viewer's experience?

Possibilities:
1) Have you specified an alternative URL to display if there are no ads? If so, your server can't find the file. Check you code.

2) Alternatively, you have the Google code in an external file that you are trying to include on your pages and your server can't find that file. Check your configuration.

3) AdSense is trying to serve a banner ad instead of text ads and the graphic is not being found. Try only displaying text ads.
