The traffic is very slow today. Is there anything happening in the USA i.e. any event thats keeping people away from their computers. I would have thought it was a normal weekday.

Not here. I'm having my best day ever, ever. But: People here have been complaining about harsh fluctuations in earnings lately. Maybe your problem is related to this.

Don't worry too much, though. We all have these days from time to time. Analyze what causes your low earnings. Is it traffic, low CTR or low CPC? These are the only three options. Once you know what it is, investigate further. E.g if your traffic is low, ask why. If your CPC is low, check for MFAs on your site. If CTR is low, check the Ad targeting, etc...
