How can I determine what ads are being shown?

Is there any kind of list, or method, to determin that on

x date

ads a-abc

were shown?

As a corollary, is there any way to determine what ads are clicked?

My motivation is two-fold:

1.) To keep the competitive filter updated
2.) To see what's being shown on the pages
