Does google cares how traffic is generated?

Even though clicks are legal.

Does google adsense guys cares about the method of generation of site traffic?
Like some traffic programms.
Bulk e-mails e.t.c

Even if visitors are unique and clicks are legalised.

Anyone generating traffic like this?

There was just a thread from a banned AdSense publisher.

It was found out in the discussion, that he collected email subscriptions since years and sent to all of them a message about his new site release.

Strange traffic programs had been mentioned many times in "I got banned" threads.

Yes, they care. Automatic traffic programs are prohibited by the TOC. They'd be justified in dropping an AdSense site they felt was getting automated clicks.

Yes of course they care about where the traffic comes from.
You don't want bad traffic yourself, and Google also doesn't want bad traffic.

From their TOS " Note that some

and also "As a reminder, any method of generating invalid clicks or impressions is strictly prohibited by our Terms & Conditions and Programme Policies"
