Huge click yesterday, tiny click today

1 click, same channel, drastic difference

My average CPC is about $.10

I had 1 click on a channel yesterday for a whopping $8.98! I nearly fainted. That is by far my highest click ever on any site

Today, on the same channel, I have registed 1 click for $.02

Could it have been advertiser error? Setting a max bid price of $10 when they meant $.10? Have I just been smart priced?

Could easily be. A friend of mine accidentally entered £25.00 when he meant it to be £0.25!

He soon changed it when he saw his advertising budget disappearing.

I see that all the time with not such a wild swing. Between .03 and .50 for the same channel.
