PSA's Showing for AdSense Publisher

Is Google now showing PSA's for the AdSense Publisher?

I'm not 100% sure on this one but its begining to show more and more. If I look at my sites which run AdSense I see PSA's my friends see normal ads though.

Now my other friends who run AdSense are seeing PSA's on their site where others and myself see normal ads...

Is Google therefore showing PSA's for the AdSense publisher? (Same IP or something that logs into the AdSense account). I can see how this would be a good idea as it means we can no longer click our own ads!

Nope, most of us can see ads on our sites just fine.

That would be a good idea, for Google to disable paying ads for publishers in terms of making it inpossible to generate false clicks. I accidently had an invalid click the other day, immeditly notified Google, told them my IP, time it happened, etc, but still did not sleep well that night! They were quick in replying thanking me for notifying them and reassuring me my account is in good standing, but it was still a stressfull time for me!

I wonder if Adsense Advisor has any timeline or plan to make false clicks or impressions a thing of the past by creating some kind of feature like that.

Any geotargeting based upon your IP? Could Google possibly have mistaken where they think you are? (ie. you are in the UK, but it thinks your IP is in South America). This could result in PSAs for you if there are no ads for the chosen keywords for the page that are targeting South America in the regional targeting, even though those in the UK could see ads just fine.

Are you seeing regional ads on other sites?

That isn't likely to happen, because it would keep publishers from seeing what ads were running on their sites.

Having a "preview" option that shows which links would show up, but they would be disabled for publishers viewing their own site from the IP they logged in from would be a very good idea. You dont need to be clicking the ad, but you can see what it is, and get the URL to visit it yourself.

How much time do Google employees in the adsense department waste removing accidental clicks by publishers and other tasks that could be drasticly reduced if links from impressions made on publisher IPs were disabled?

I would certainly feel better about quickly navigating my site without the fear I might accidently click on an ad and toss up a red flag.
