Sending 3 ads in the 336x280 ads

Undoubtly, when Google sends 3 ads instead the usual 4 in the 336x280 ads, my CPM doubles!

I have witness this many, many days, and I can swear it is like that. But Google doesn't do that every day. It happens like a 25% of the month days.

I don't know if this is the effect of "less ads more money", so I wonder if I replace that huge square with a 468x60 (2 ads) I'll have the same effect.

that's something i was mentioning here many times - bigger font and less links are always better for these 300x300 ad blocks. anyway, i am wondering how did you realized google is showing 3 instead of 4 links (there may be also one or two)...

sometimes I get only 2 or 1 links on a Leaderboard (728 x 90) :) and this makes me good money.

It seems to vary from hour to hour on my sites. I get anywhere from 2 to 4 ads appearing in the 336x280 adblock.
