Your payments are currently on hold. Action is required to release payment. Click here for details.

ANd then when I go there, I get this message:

EFT failed - please enter and verify a new bank account

First of all, my payment information is correct. Few days ago Google deposited money with no problems.

ASA please help, this is ridicolous!

Here in the UK EFT is all good recieved my payment with a couple hundred dollars extra because exchange rates when i checked earlier sucked compared to googles exchange rate in the payment page, I bet google suffered a big hit to the face when they found out sweden got 2% ... and they probably thought they had loads of money left over to buy a new google base in the UK? :).

Yes, I'm Canadian, and both transfers came in fine.

I'm Swedish and it happened to me.

I asked AdSense support about it right away and just received an answer saying that they are aware that the account seems to be on hold and that my bank account is marked "DEPOSIT FAILED". However, they claim that this is not affecting payment, and that I can expect my bank account to be credited in the next couple of
days.

They will remove the hold and reset the bank account to
'VERIFIED' by the end of the week.

That's a relief, I'd say...

Thanks for the Swedish update Nikke. There's a couple of us up North here in the same boat.

Hi everyone --

Don't worry, the messages you're seeing are normal. I'll be happy to explain what's happening.

Your payment hasn't failed unless it says 'Payment cancelled' for the amount of the 2nd payment. The 'DEPOSIT FAILED' and hold is because of the 'Payment cancelled' booked for the first incorrect payment entry. By the end of the week, we'll remove the hold on your account and reset the bank account to 'VERIFIED'.

Thanks ASA, just received an email from Google support confirming this. Suprisingly, the email was addressed to me personally and answered a specific question so someone actually read it and responded. Nice to see a fast turnaround on this problem.

I just checked my banking account and saw no additional funds from Google.

Hmmm...I got the first deposit fine with the backwords exchange rate and all. In Adsense acct. it says first payment was cancelled and then they split it up into two amounts. The first amount was the $US equivalent of what I recieved already, and the second amount is what is still owed me. As of yet I have not recieved the 2nd deposit. Yikes, bad mistake...

Dave.

Likewise: And the exchange rate on both transactions was great, I'd like to add.

Received 2nd payment today for full correct amount and my account appears to be back to normal. Thanks Google, I knew you were good for it ;-)
