Creating pages considering actual bids

Is the right way to go?

I find reasonable to create new pages on my sites considering how much are adverstisers paying actually. So those niches or keywords where you find many advertisers, tend to be higher naturally while others where competition is low, they can go for $0,01 ads.

So I wonder if that's the real case.
Do you look for keyworkds with high searches volume AND high competition to create new content pages for Adsense?
Or at least do you think that's the way to do it?

The whole basis of any website is to create content that's of value to the reader. There are thousands of MFA [made for AdSense] sites out there, but trying to find one that is of value to the internet is another story.

It sounds like yet another one of those 'get rich quick' or is it 'get banned by AdSense' approaches.

No.

At best, short-term thinking leads to short-term results.

I usually come up with content pages by paying attention to what's going on in the world. For example: news events, fashions, trends, etc., that may provide content long-term, is what I seek.

Most keywords that advertisers are paying the most for, are based on subjects that I can't provide adequate content for.

On the flip side, some content doesn't attract ads that pay well or generate clicks. That's a problem faced by newspaper sites that use AdSense: How many WASHINGTON POST readers are in a buying mood when they're reading about a double murder in Virginia or a roadside bombing in Iraq?
