exchange rate screw up - google's payment

For the last month, I earned $3,000 US and Google converted $3,000 US as $2,500 Canadian.

This is total screw up.

Same here, except I am in Sweden, and my rate was way off.

I got 0.133 : 1 instead of 7.48 : 1.

I bet they did this on purpose....

Either they need the extra money or just checking how people react.

Quite simple, some idiot at Google got their calculation wrong - it happened with a number of currency payments recently.

The Swedish calculation according to the figues given above should have given the publisher 7.48 local for his dollar. but if you divide rather than multiply, that is 1/7.48 you get 0.133, which is what they sent.
