Type of ads?
how many per page?
any other way to make money?
I already have 3 adsense ads per page. Im new so please help me out. Any help would be great. This is my first site. Thanks John
to a site about 1 million page views a month estimate. For a new site that has only been open for 4 days i have got over 10,000 hits today.
1 million AdSense page impressions are not that many. There are quite a few here with 10/15/20+ million per month.
10,000 hits? Again, what's a hit? Try not to mix up log files and genuine page impressions.
And yeah, sounds a bit like Pentonville for you if you go down the road you were querying in the domain name forum.
Companies, both large and small, can be very protective of their on-line business image and names.
The site im talking about was setup before i even asked those questions. Its a site that brings in a certain group of people and i have a good way to advertise it!
As for the hits they are not unique hits! Its page impressions! So far the click through rate has been pretty good.
so for people thinking that im doing something illegal- im not! I cant tell you what the subject is, but its something that iv been involved in for about 5 years. Over the 5 years got alot of friends on the forum and told them about the site a few days ago. The site is everything i know about this subject and another interesting stuff.
When people visit the site they can comment, so alot of people left me a comment on what else i should do to improve the site. Right now im working on about 100 pages of new content that was suggested by my visitors. So hopefully the site is a success and gets big.
For all the people that have negative things to say dont bother. In the first post i asked a couple of questions... not to be criticized!
Thanks John

You are new to AdSense and some of the members, out of concern for you, are simply giving you advice to save you from accidentally getting kicked out of the program. Certainly some of the responses could have been written better, but the reasons for them were more helpful than hurtful. It's not criticism, it's advice from knowledgeable members to someone who may not know the ropes yet.
My post was written to be helpful, without being accusatory, and that's how these kinds of situations should be approached.
But the major reason for the response you received is due to the way your original post was written. Way too much information. Anytime you give too much information in a post, it's going to lead to a side discussion, often unanticipated. Your post encourages the impression that you might be trying to monetize spyware-type traffic or many other different schemes.
Unfortunately, when you say you're getting 10k visitors daily on a brand new website, the impression you are going to leave is a dubious one, unless you take the time to explain why. But why do that? It's not critical to the answer, so leave it out.
In the future, you may want to be more mindful of what details are necessary for a post, and which details are not.
i think JohnM is overwhelmed by his quick traffic success and his way to compensate this is by showing off with explicitly mentioning his stats to the audience. also for that reason the exxagerations (massive traffic) and the vehement demand for even better results in a short time.
this kind of behaviour is typical for people who achieved a rapid success with relatively little effort. understandable on the contrary, that the response from others range from lack of helpfulness to skepticism right up to pure envy.
